In a study assessing the efficacy of GLM extract in the management of mild-to-moderate degenerative joint disease (DJD) in dogs, clinical signs improved significantly over baseline by Day 28, and continued to improve over the entire course of the study. This indicates that some benefits of GLM may be observed within a month of starting treatment (Pollard, Guilford, Ankenbauer-Perkins, & Hedderley, 2006).
